Social Impact Office
Formerly known as the Small Business Affairs Office, the Airport Commission’s Social Impact Office conducts outreach programs to promote and ensure local, small and disadvantaged business participation in Airport concession leases and contracts (e.g. construction and professional services).
Social Impact Office staff serve as an advocate, disseminates information, and develops policies and activities to maximize small business participation in all phases of Airport contracting. Social Impact Office also enforces the Federal DBE and ACDBE contracting requirements, and monitors the LBE compliance program for SFO.
